DARTMOUTH Nursing students at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth may have missed out on a conventional curriculum this year, but what they gained in experience is invaluable. Mark W. Gregg, a junior at UMD, has helped out at testing sites and vaccination clinics around the SouthCoast as part of his community health class, administering over 150 vaccines at the VF Outlet in Dartmouth and the Liberal Club in Fall River. For his clinical, he helped out at a local site for eight hours every Tuesday, resulting in an average total of 70 hours for the semester. While we missed out on some opportunities, we were blessed with the other side, Gregg said.
