Positive COVID-19 cases continue to decrease even as students return to the building. On a state level, all districts cases have plummeted since reaching an all-time high record during the first week of April.

Gregg, a junior at UMD, has helped out at testing sites and vaccination clinics around the SouthCoast as part of his community health class, administering over 150 vaccines at the VF Outlet in Dartmouth and the Liberal Club in Fall River. For his clinical, he helped out at a local site for eight hours every Tuesday, resulting in an average total of 70 hours for the semester. While we missed out on some opportunities, we were blessed with the other side, Gregg said.
