Three warm-hearted local youngsters have raised more than £1,000 for the Madina Institute and Masjid Community Hub and its associated Youth Zone.
Aleeza (13), Mariam (10) and Laiba (7) sprung their ideas into action during Ramadan in a bid to support the Madina Institute and Masjid Community Hub where they attend the Youth Zone and other various activities.
The plan came together when they developed their love for sweets into a fully operational website, taking orders locally and progressing to offer nationwide delivery.

It comes as Covid-19 has cost pub and restaurant owners £40,313 each on average, with owners expecting losses to reach £45,470 in total, according to study of businesses in the food and drink industry by small business insurer Simply Business.

Waterhead Academy has been shortlisted for the Community and Collaboration prize in the prestigious TES Schools Awards 2021.
The most outstanding individuals and institutions that the education sector has to offer are recognised in the shortlist for the annual TES Awards.
Times Educational Supplement editor Jon Severs said: “It is more important this year than ever before to celebrate the fantastic work schools do, because in the past 12 months they have gone above and beyond to ensure pupils were able to be educated and be kept safe in extraordinary circumstances.
A man has been charged in connection with the death of Philip Ogden in Stalybridge.
David Chorlton, 26, of no fixed abode has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, causing death by driving whilst disqualified, causing death by driving while unlicensed or uninsured, driving whilst disqualified, using a motor vehicle on a road or public place without third part insurance, and failing to stop after a road accident.
Chorlton appeared at Tameside Magistrates court on Friday (May 14), and has been remanded into custody.
He is due to appear at Manchester Crown Court (Minshull Street) on Friday, June 11, 2021.
A 26-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, has been released on bail.
