Jetstar to give out hundreds of dollars of in flight vouchers at train stations
May 25, 2021 11:27
Jetstar is giving out hundreds of dollars of in-flight vouchers to Aussie commuters to help celebrate the company’s 17th birthday, Tuesday 25 May, via an experiential activation, in conjunction with Ooh Media, Thinkerbell and Wavemaker.
The budget airline will transport two of Australia’s most iconic train stations, Flinders Street Station in Melbourne and Central Station in Sydney into airports, and will be taking over 50 digital screens in the stations to be used to track an aircraft’s flightpath.
From 6am to 9pm, commuters will have the chance to scan QR codes on designated screens, offering free flight vouchers for those who can scan and catch the flight.

Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) will have a new home next year, as the company takes up residence at Deague Group’s 101 Moray Street in South Melbourne.
SCA’s neighbours will include Ooh Media and Adobe, and the lease runs for 10 years.
SCA’s chief financial officer Nick McKechnie said staying in South Melbourne was important as it is the “long-established beating heart of much of Melbourne’s advertising industry”, but noted that the new environment would help the company to evolve.
“SCA’s business is constantly evolving, and with the recent launch of LiSTNR, we are creating more audio content than ever,” he said. “This, paired with the fact that, like most organisations, SCA introduced new flexible working arrangements post-COVID, meant we needed to reconsider how we will get the most out of the physical workspace.”
