Although many of the Wareham High School Key Club’s typical service events were off-limits due to the ongoing pandemic, the club still achieved recognition on many fronts this year.
According to advisor Matt Stanton, members of Key Club found ways to “provide service while maintaining the COVID protocols” and made the most of the year.
“The students elected to do the best they could with the cards they were dealt,” he said. Of the nearly 200 Key Clubs in the district, Wareham High School’s Key Club was one of five schools in New England to achieve Diamond Distinguished Key Club recognition for leadership development and service.

The Brainerd High School Key Club recently attended the Minn-Dak District Convention.
Newly elected officers were trained for the following positions: Nicole Benson as president; Karlton Anderson as vice president; Nick Moore as secretary; Anna Aangland as treasurer; Laura Wells and Caroline Gadacz as editors; Hannah Moddes as web editor; and Devin Knopf was elected as the Lieutenant Governor for Division 3B.
