Karnataka may be inviting another wave of Covid-19 in the state by reducing the number of tests from 1.9 lakh daily a month ago to over 93,000 now, warned a member of the state Covid-19 Technical Advisory Committee (TAC).
Experts have warned the crisis has the potential to worsen in the coming weeks.

The Karnataka government has imposed a complete lockdown for 14 days. The lockdown will start at 6 am on May 10 and end at 6 am on May 24.

The Karnataka government has decided to impose a 14-day complete lockdown in the state to check the spread of Covid-19 cases. Announcing the decision Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa said the state government had to impose a lockdown because the corona curfew failed to achieve its objectives.
