Suzuki is gearing up to launch the 2021 Hayabusa in India on April 26, 2021.
The new Hayabusa gets an updated fairing and is 2 kg lighter than its predecessor. It gets a revised instrument cluster with an LCD screen in the centre, launch control, active speed limiter and cruise control.
The superbike is powered by a 1,340cc, 4-cylinder engine that produces 187 BHP @ 9,700 rpm and 150 Nm @ 7,000 rpm. The engine gets lighter pistons, new connecting rods and fuel injectors among a host of other upgrades.
The Hayabusa comes equipped with a new slip and assist-clutch, Brembo Stylema brakes, 6-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU) and Suzuki Drive Mode Selector Alpha (SDMS-a) which includes Power Mode Selector, Engine Brake Control System, Anti-Lift Control System, Motion Track Traction Control System and Bi-Directional Quick Shift System.

Suzuki has unveiled the third-generation model of the iconic Suzuki Hayabusa, giving it a comprehensive update, cosmetically and with a new electronics package, as well as to meet the latest global emission regulations. The new Hayabusa gets sleeker and sharper bodywork, but gets slightly less power and torque than the outgoing model, although it now gets a comprehensive electronics package, as well as top-spec components, like Brembo Stylema calipers. The new Hayabusa will be sold globally, first in Europe, Japan and North America and then in India as well.
