A 15-year-old boy is facing three charges after a police investigation.
Police alleged the teen assaulted his mother, threatened to kill her, and threatened to burn down her residence during an altercation. He was arrested on Saturday.

The teen, whose identity cannot be released under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was charged with two counts of uttering threats, and assault.
He was released from police custody to appear in Cornwall court at an undisclosed later date.

Despite a year marked by COVID-19, the North Bay Santa Fund “crushed our goal,” according to chair Scott Clark.
As of Tuesday, the fund stood at $166,000, and was expected to exceed $170,000 by the end of the day Wednesday.

The target, to purchase grocery items and Christmas presents for 600 families, including about 1,500 children, was $140,000.
In an earlier interview, Clark said the excess funds collected will be distributed among the North Bay Crisis Centre, the North Bay Food Bank and the Canadore College Food Bank.
