Billie Hayes, who rode a memorable cackle to kiddie-TV fame, playing a witch named Witchiepoo in the short-lived but much remembered 1969 series âH.R. Pufnstuf,â died on April 29 in Los Angeles. She was 96.
News of her death was posted on her website.

GREAT FALLS â Fit Republic in Great Falls is offering a womenâs self defense class that teaches discipline and self confidence.
The class will feature karate techniques to teach spatial awareness and vital pressure points, as well as jiu jitsu to learn how to break balance.
Instructor Toshio Arai explained, âWe plan to combine both to teach self defense and empowerment of women.â
