She was then struck by an eastbound car, driven by 53-year-old Olney resident William Goluba. Goluba and a passenger in Sargent’s car, a 14-year-old male from Fairfield, were taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Sargent was also taken to an area hospital, where she passed away. The Greater Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce has announced Zurliene Enterprises as the 2021 Business of the Year. A three-generation family-owned-and-operated business in the farming sector, Zurliene Enterprises has served Wayne and surrounding counties for over 50 years.
