Marins Public Health officer said with the current spike in covid19 cases, they need more time before bringing kids back to school. Thank you, mike. Two contra costa Sheriff Deputies are recovering after being shot during a standoff, it happened last night around 9 00 just east of brentwood. Authorities say that the suspect came out of a home and fired a shotgun at members of a s. W. A. T. Team. Deputies returned fire killing the suspect. The two deputies were taken to the hospital, Officials Say this all began as a Domestic Violence incident yesterday morning. A woman reported the suspect held her hostage overnight, poured gasoline on her and then threatened to laight her on fir. Authorities have not released the name of suspect or the condition of the Sheriff Deputies so far. Back to you.
