A homeowner is in the hospital and a pair of armed intruders is on the run. But as kiet do shows us, one of the suspects may be wounded. Reporter the white pieces of paper mark the spots where police found significant amounts of blood. Its one of the biggest clues that the homeowner has pretty good aim. There is some indication that a suspect may have been shot. Reporter it began around 12 45 a. M. When the elderly man whom neighbors say is a retired contractor was home with his wife. Police say at least two men broke into the house on the 2100 block of lakeview drive attempting to pull off a Home Invasion robbery. But the homeowner apparently pulled out a shotgun and fired three rounds. During the shootout, the homeowner was hit, went to the hospital with critical but nonlifethreatening injuries.
