Sometime late on thanksgiving day, a relative found the body of 63 year old gerald dreesman beside his pickup in a ditch. Howard and 31 year old heather belieau. Officers found their bodies yesterday afternoon inside their home at the 39hundred block of center street. They also found two Young Children inside. But they appeared unharmed. Neighbors say they were shocked to hear about what happened. These are the 18th and 19th homicides of the year in des moines. Thats the highest number in more than 20 years. The city of des moines says more security measures need to be in place in downtown. This comes after a Fatal Shooting on court avenue. Police say 21 year old Edmanuel Perez was shot and killed at the intersections of 3rd and court sunday morning. 23 year old andrew boyd also suffered gunshot wounds.
