A Hong Kong trading company was allegedly defrauded out of more than $13 million in a sophisticated international scam. Their investigations led them to a convicted Bangladeshi fraudster and unco.
Shibli Rubayat-Ul-Islam, chairman of the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC), allegedly received payments from a bank account linked to a multi-million-dollar fraud, according to a report of the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP).

Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain said on Sunday that all orders and verdicts by the Supreme Court will be issued in Bangla soon.
“We’ve started using software from December. It automatically translates verdicts from English into Bangla. Further steps will be taken once the translations are done,” he said.
The chief justice came up with the remarks while speaking to journalists after paying homage to the 1952 Language Martyrs at the Central Shaheed Minar in the capital.
“On the instruction of the prime minister, a translation cell has been formed, which has already started work in this regard,” he said.
