The Indian National Congress party has condemned Prime Minister Narendra Modi s "silence" over the sexual harassment allegations against former Wrestling Federation of India chief and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. Congress called on Modi to expel Singh from the party and work to prosecute him. Fifteen out of 108 people spoken to during the investigation confirmed the allegations against Singh, the party added.
A Delhi court has taken cognisance of Delhi Police chargesheet in the sexual harassment case against BJP MP and Wrestling Federation of India President, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and summoned him to Court on July 18.
Vinod Tomar was also named in the FIR based on a complaint by India’s top wrestlers alleging sexual harassment at the hands of the Wrestling Federation chief Brij Bhushan.
