This is a crowd of about thousands. They started at city hall, roughly 3 00 with a few hundred. Now it has grown exponentially. These folks are protesting the death of george floyd, one of many demonstrations around the country. Demonstrating against the death of a man at the hands of a Police Officer. Weve watched as just in the last hour, this crowd branched off in two different directions. One went toward the bay bridge. The other toward the hall of justice. One young demonstrator said he recognizes even gathering in this crowd presents a risk to him. Were all risking something by being here. You see, like, how armed the police here
