Inexperienced Severe Weather multiple regions across the state last night, with tornadoes inortedly touching down floyd, murray, walker and other counties. There are 59,000 georgians without power. We have 49 who were injured. 23 homes we know of that were destroyed. 59 other homes have minor damage , and there are 248 homes waiting to be assessed for damage. So far, we have confirmed that seven georgians have lost their life to this terrible storm, and certainly my thoughts and prayers go out to them, as well as their loved ones and their communities.
