Breaking right now at 11 00 a Police Officer has been hit by a car in montgomery county. This is just in video of the scene in pottstown on high street near mosier road. Police say this officer was conducting a traffic stop when the driver took off and hit the officer. Witnesses tell Eyewitness News a second officer opened fire on that vehicle as it sped off. That driver is now in custody. The officer has been taken to the hospital but no official word on his condition.
