Apple accusing samsung of stealing its ideas. And today, a jury agreed as our mark sayre reports, samsung now owes apple 900 million but jurors from the trial say its more than just the money. Reporter since the Legal Process does not move as fast as the pace of technology, this case surrounds some older products including the Samsung Galaxy s2. A previous jury found samsung did violate apples patents but this jury was tasked with deciding a big portion of the damages. Some jurors say they feel apple simply made a better case that it was harmed and samsung didnt put on enough evidence nor witnesses. We had way more information from apple. And it didnt just happen here. The winds took out a few trees in the bay area overnight. Look at this one that happened in oakland. This is skyline and redwood road near highway 13. Not only took out the tree but brought down a lot of debris with it leaves and branches. The winds were powerful overnight. Usually tracy is the bad spot. Its bizarre. Came around the corner and saw this. Its crazy. Reporter he is with the company thats hired to handle the cleanup here at diablo. The problem is a little bigger than he thought it was going to be so hes waiting for more equipment to get here and sun light before he tackles this. The investigation into what caused a woman to ram a barrier and speed off toward the capitol before being killed by police in front of hundreds of bystanders and tourists and her little girl. Now to restore you only see your own kron4. Four weeks ago a mother was run over by a park san reddick truck and holly park. Heres kron4s Philippe Djegal on more on the accident. the San Francisco department of public works says its investigating why it was in the dark in regards to its employees license status. Public works said it hasnt learned that its employees license was suspended until after the crash happened. Public works said that around 11 00 wednesday morning the employees collided with another vehicle at the intersection of cesar chavez and valencia while on duty and while driving a city owned truck. Rachel gordon with public words says there were no serious injuries now she says the focus turns to wide public works wasnt aware of the suspended license. Either dmv did not reported for the notification was lost. Gordon says theyre also looking into whether or not the employee ever told a supervisor that their license was suspended with his protocol under that circumstance.
