(Undated) Starting today, Pennsylvanians who lost someone to COVID-19 are able to apply to get reimbursed for funeral expenses. Families could be reimbursed up to nine-thousand-dollars under FEMA s funeral assistance program. Those who lost a family member to the virus will need to submit funeral expense documents and a death certificate that indicates the individual died from COVID when they apply. Pennsylvanians that qualify can apply at fema.gov.

Major Kristal Turner-Childs is now serving as acting deputy commissioner of staff for the P-S-P, becoming the first African American to serve in the position. York State Fair Preparing To Return This Summer
(York, PA) The York State Fair is preparing to return this summer after it was forced to cancel all events last year because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. York State Fair CEO Bryan Blair announced over the weekend that the fair is expected to begin on July 23rd. The fair is planning to host all of its normal activities and vendors as COVID restrictions in the state are lifted. Shooting In Harrisburg Kills 16-Year-Old Boy
(Harrisburg, PA) Police are investigating a shooting in Harrisburg that killed a 16-year-old boy. The shooting happened yesterday morning in the 22-hundred-block of Berryhill Street. Police say the 16-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene from a gunshot wound. It is the fourth homicide the city has seen so far this year.
