This overnight, and this was around midnight. The officers were patrolling the area downtown when a car came around the corner and hit a patrol car with the officer inside. That vehicle at some point rammed the patrol car again, and it is unknown whether the drivers in the influence. There are two other officers that were on the scene and they fired their weapons at the driver. We spoke with a lieutenant a short time ago and heres what he had to say. The two officers were on foot, and they used to their Service Weapons to shoot at the suspect vehicle, and the suspect vehicle fled, later found unoccupied a halfmile away. The patrol officers searched the area and located the person we believe may be the suspect, and we have taken him into custody for a warrant pending further investigation. Reporter the vehicle was found as you heard in a neighborhood near the Regional Medical center. We are told that the suspect was arrested with the help of the canine that tracked down the suspect. We

The breeze will be here with the blustery day, east southeast for two days, mild on the temperatures. We dont expect that to change, and we could see mid70s if the sun pops out. The next system is not one favoring the north bay, for everybody on thursday. 60s and 70s on the temperatures. 6 01 am. Slow traffic, a lot of people driving a little bit slower, and the rain you mentioned, not major but enough to slow down the traffic. When we get to the bay bridge you can see we have the camera a little bit wet, not a major downpour but slowing people down on the bridge.
