G20 Meeting: India is hosting the G20 Summit after a year-long series of events all over the country. Over 220 meetings would have happened across 60 cities in all 28 states and 8 union territories, with over 1.5 crore people involved in these programs. The G20 secretariat in Delhi has been responsible for the overall policy decisions and arrangements needed, and India had all hands on deck as ministers, government officials, state governments, civil society groups, businesses, and common people came together to host foreign dignitaries.
According to US officials in the know, the talks have also included the United Arab Emirates and Europe but might not yield a concrete result to be announced during the G20 Summit in Delhi.
With "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam: One Earth, One Family, One Future" as its theme, the forthcoming G20 Summit is set to address a number of global challenges.
