Crime and fire report: A Fargo man suffers injuries after striking a bear and rolling vehicle; up to 7,500 pigs killed in containment building fire in Frazee
On Thursday, July 8, at 12:50 a.m., near the Highway 10 and Anderson Lake Road intersection, Lake Park, a 33-year-old Fargo man suffered minor injuries after rolling his vehicle after striking a bear. He was transported to a nearby medical clinic in Fargo for additional treatment. Also, on Friday, July 9, at 8:48 p.m., on the 37000 block of County Road 120, Frazee, up 7,500 pigs were killed after a fire erupted in a hog containment building. All persons were able to evacuate the structure without injury. The fire is suspected to have started in a ventilation fan.

Eunice Police identify possible suspect in Second Street, Maple Avenue shooting

EUNICE, La. â The Eunice Police Department have identified a suspect allegedly involved in a shooting at the intersection of South Second Street and West Maple Avenue last week that left two people injured.
According to Chief Randy Fontenot, an arrest warrant has been issued for Brian K. BK Thomas, 19, of Ville Platte.
Fontenot says that Thomas is wanted on a charge of Attempted First Degree Murdr, and is to be considered armed and dangerous.
