Date Time Liverpool City Council extends outdoor lighting during stay-at-home order Liverpool City Council will keep all parks, playgrounds and outdoor fitness stations open during the NSW Health stay-at-home order in place until 11.59pm on Friday, 9 July. Extended lighting will also be provided to a number of parks and ovals across the city to ensure that all residents have a chance to get outdoors even when the sun goes down earlier in winter. Liverpool Mayor Wendy Waller said residents must continue to comply with the NSW Government’s physical distancing and hygiene requirements when enjoying Council’s outdoor facilities. “We understand the positive benefits as outlined by NSW Health that regular exercise and getting outside can have on our community during a difficult time like this,” Mayor Waller said.
