These heat wave conditions will last until the end of this month with sultry conditions affecting the residents of North India. However, heat wave conditions may see a backseat in the beginning of May.
Heat wave conditions may make a comeback over many parts of the country in next 48 hours. We do not expect any significant pre-monsoon activities during next one week therefore the short relief from hot weather conditions is over now.
This year, many parts of the country have been witnessing intense heat wave. Average maximum temperatures of the country were 33.1 degree during March 2022, which is highest since 1901. First few days of April seem to be hottest since last many years.
Isolated pockets of Southwest Haryana also witnessed mild dust storm. Now conditions are favourable for isolated pre-monsoon activities over parts of Punjab, Haryana, North Rajasthan, Delhi and isolated pockets of West Uttar Pradesh during the next 24 hours.
Now, the situation is all set to change with the first dust storm is likely to make an appearance over Punjab and Haryana. Delhi also stands an outside chance with parts of extreme West Rajasthan also likely to see similar weather activities.
