WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI Washtenaw County’s innovative use of an electronic marriage software is being recognized by the technology company that created it.
The Washtenaw County Clerk’s Office was named a 2021 Tyler Public Sector Excellence award winner at Tyler Technologies’ annual Connect user conference in April.
The office’s vital records division was recognized as a winner because of its innovative strategy in deploying Tyler’s eMarriage solution and other technology in innovative ways to serve the public during the COVID-19 pandemic, officials said.

WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI The Washtenaw County Clerk’s Office is inviting the public to observe its participation in a statewide audit Thursday to confirm the accuracy of the November 2020 General Election.
Risk limiting audits are being used across Michigan to confirm the accuracy of ballot tabulation machines by comparing the results from the hand count of the randomly selected paper ballots to the previously printed results from the machines.
