Ridgefield Craft Brewing just announced new distribution agreements that will see its beers enjoy wider distribution across Western Washington. Here is the announcement about these new partnerships with Kendall’s Pioneer and Browar Polska.

Not long ago,
I posted a story about a new collaboration beer from Ecliptic Brewing and Wayfinder Beer, two damned fine breweries in Portland, Oregon. As to what style of it beer they created, it was dubbed a “Cold IPA,” which I described as a newish style IPA. Truth be told, it did not occur to me that I needed to provide a lot of detail. This super-fluffy, hazy IPA utilizes locally grown Kiwis from Bainbridge Island. The sweet and tart kiwi notes mingle with Citra, Simcoe, and Chinook hops that impart a myriad of piney, dank, and citrus fruit hop aromas that float along a pillowy base of oat, wheat, and milk sugar. The result drinks like a dynamic hop fruit smoothie.
