For you, that means they’ve assembled some tasting kits and arranged a virtual tasting event. No matter where you live –Washington, Oregon, and beyond they’ve got you covered with pickup and delivery options. “Since 2013, Cider Summit has been the unofficial culmination of the annual cider industry gathering – CiderCon,” says the Cider Summit website. “Both events have had to pivot this year but we’re still working together to celebrate our amazing cider community. We’ve created two festival to-go tasting kits, featuring many of our closest cider friends from around the country.”

Among his numerous contributions to the local beer universe, he opened Toronado Seattle in 2014, but that’s just one part of a long list. Matt unexpectedly passed away in 2019. It was a year later in March 2020 that Toronado Seattle announced that it was closing permanently. Fremont Brewingrecently announced its plans to release Ye Olde Centaur Barley Wine as a nod to a man very deserving of such a tribute.
