check the record, joe has said something similar. when billionaires and wealthy people contribute, they re not doing so out of the goodness of their heart, they want something. and that is one of the great problems in american society. can that argument sell? i ve always been one for years that the money arguments don t matter as much to voters, but it seems that that argument does seem to have sway, especially when you see sanders and warren with grass roots contributions. i think it s more important than we ve seen in any prior election. biden is weighing the pros and cons. he has less cash on hand than some second tier candidates and money matters more than a lot of other things. so he says i ll take the hits now but it will probably help me in the long run. i think that s the calculation he s making. when koe come back, we ll hear from the president of the united states. the president, we re told, expected to announce the death of one of the world aefs most wanted terrorists.
if they ll vote for this person, then that person can win. the three tickets out of iowa idea, which is someone else could surprise us a. so if someone else bates expectations, like klobuchar or buttigieg does better than expected, that can sort of scramble the race. and one of the themes as we get into the final 99 days there is that joe biden s team has acknowledged, he said repeatedly i will not sake help from a super pac. if you look at the donors that have maxed out, 38% of biden s primary donors can t give him any more money. if you look at warren and sanders who raise more in small online contributions, they ve got a lot of room to grow. so he needs this super pac which bernie sanders says the horrible. i do not think a super pac is healthy for an american democracy, and i think if you
whereas among the white voters, he s bunched up with warren and sanders. 45 and above, nearly a 30-point advantage. younger voters, bunched up with warren and sanders. take a look at those that identify as motd earn and conservative democrats. compared to liberal democrats where again, he s not really losing that vote, but he s splitting it with warren and sanders. so in some categories, he s bunched up with warren and sanders. then in these important demographic groups, he has an overwhelming advantage. we also asked this sort of question about vision overall for 2020 democrats. are you looking for somebody who can propose big change even if there s a smaller chance of becoming law? or looking for a candidate who may propose for becoming law. and the majority of democrats prefer the latter. 53% say they d be okay with smaller change for somebody with
if you put the warren and sanders numbers together, can you make the argument it s harder to see sanders supporters going to a warren or biden or vice versa. warren supporters tend to be those with a college degree. it s not just moving along idea longical but always educational lines. one other thing i just sort of want to point out, if we look at the enthusiasm for the different democratic candidates, the mind made up right now, and i think this is rather important in terms of the mind made up. most voters, or actually, we ll go on enthusiasm. most voters are satisfied with the field. if you look at we re going back. but doesn t matter. the point is, most voters right now are pretty much made up on their mind. or they re about 50% made up. most biden voters are overwhelmingly made up. a lot of people are saying, voters will move away from biden when they start hearing about other people.
pete buttigieg and some of the other centrists who are saying that some people do like their health care. warren and sanders and other progressives are saying people don t like their health care. they like their doctor or their nurse. that s a line warren uses. i think democratic party is trying to figure what voters are looking for and they are struggling and they re kind of attacking each other over it and that s where we are seeing such a variation in plans. medicare for all, complete coverage. is it the way sanders and warner talking about it or is it medicare for all who want it, which is what pete buttigieg is talking about. neil: republicans have not come up with an alternative of their own. it cost him the house last time around. are they at risk of losing the white house because they are not articulating it? let me disagree, republicans have come up with plans. they tried to pass bills. john mccain s uncle bill on health care. it s a reason
