On Saturday, April 17, Wareham Fire District voters will be asked to elect two Prudential Committee members and one Water Commissioner.
The election will be held drive-thru style at the Wareham Fire District office, 2550 Cranberry Highway, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Early voting is also available every day this week at the district office from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Masks are required.
Prudential Committee members will be elected to three-year terms, and the Water Commissioner will also be elected to a three-year term.
Water Commissioner Richard England is running for re-election unopposed.

Selectman Alan Slavin proposed a zero quorum for future Wareham Fire District meetings.
In stark contrast with the lengthy and controversial Special Town Meeting on April 10, voters at the Wareham Fire District’s annual meeting approved nearly everything on the docket without much discussion or any objection during a speedy 40-minute meeting Monday, April 12.
Despite the chilly, overcast evening, 61 voters gathered at 6 p.m. for the drive-in style district meeting, which was held in the Wareham High School parking lot.
