ajohnson@minotdailynews.com Christapher Branden Enriquez, 30, Rodnie Roberts Duchaine Jr., 30, and Melissa Kay Veach-Decoteau, 31, are all charged in district court in Minot with Class B felony possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, Class B felony possession with intent to deliver heroin, and Class C felony possession of drug paraphernalia intended for manufacture or delivery. Enriquez and Duchaine are charged with Class C felony possession of drug paraphernalia, a second offense, and Veach-Decoteau is charged with Class A misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, a first offense. According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court, the Ward County Narcotics Task Force obtained a search warrant on Thursday for the trailer occupied by the trio. ajohnson@minotdailynews.com Joshua Cornelius Turmon, 36, Minot, is charged in district court in Minot with Class B felony possession with intent to deliver marijuana, Class C felony child neglect, Class C felony possession of drug paraphernalia, Class A misdemeanor possession of crack cocaine and Class A misdemeanor possession of alprazolam, which is commonly known as ecstasy. According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court, the Ward County Narcotics Task Force obtained a search warrant on Thursday for Turmon’s residence at 809 1th Avenue SE, No. 306. The search of Turmon’s bedroom turned up about 2.5 ounces of marijuana divided into 11 bags packaged for sale; about 3.16 grams of methamphetamine; about 1.2 grams of crack cocaine; nine ecstasy pills; an electronic scale with suspected drug residue; a Kimber 9mm handgun with ammunition; used syringes and other drug paraphernalia and items with drug residue. Turmon is also accused of exposing a child to the drugs.

Alan Chorlton, Minot, sentenced to 2 years for delivery of methamphetamine | News, Sports, Jobs

ajohnson@minotdailynews.com Alan Michael Chorlton, 35, Minot, was sentenced on Friday to 10 years in prison, with a requirement that he serve two years, and three years of probation for the Class B felony charge of selling 1/8 ounce of methamphetamine to a confidential informant working for the Ward County Narcotics Task Force on Aug. 16, 2017. North Central District Court Judge Todd Cresap also ordered Chorlton to obtain a chemical dependency evaluation and to pay $1,650 in court costs. Chorlton will receive credit for three days already served in the Ward County Jail. The charge was filed in January 2018. A jury trial had been scheduled in May 2020, postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and rescheduled for August 2020 and then again to October 2020. Chorlton then decided to change his plea to guilty on Oct. 30, 2020, and remained free pending sentencing.
