Patrick James Golden, 35, Minot, was sentenced on April 21 to 360 days in jail, all suspended but the five days he has already served, and two years of supervised probation for Class B felony physical abuse of a child under the age of 6 in August 2020.
Judge Todd Cresap also ordered Golden to register as an offender against children, to complete an anger management class, to obtain a psychological evaluation and follow through with any treatment recommendations, to obtain a chemical dependency evaluation and follow through with any treatment recommendations, to complete a parenting capacity evaluation and to pay $775 in court costs.

David Lee Warner, 35, Sawyer, was sentenced on Friday to 360 days in jail, all suspended but the four days he already served, and two years of supervised probation for striking a Minot Community Ambulance member on Oct. 21, 2020.
Judge Todd Cresap also ordered Warner to have no contact with the victim and to pay $1,100 in court costs.
If he successfully completes probation, the C felony will be reduced to a Class A misdemeanor.
According to the probable cause affidavit filed with the court, Warner became belligerent about not being buckled into a seat in the ambulance. When they arrived at the hospital, Warner got out of the vehicle and got into an altercation with the alleged victim. Warner allegedly struck the other man in the face.

Daniel Cartagena Rodriguez Jr., 27, of Pontiac, Mich., was indicted earlier this month in U.S. District Court in North Dakota on a charge of possession with intent to distribute 84.9 grams of fentanyl and distribution of fentanyl in December 2020 in Minot.
He had originally been charged in district court in Minot but Judge Todd Cresap signed an order of dismissal of the Class A felony possession with intent to deliver fentanyl and Class A felony intent to deliver fentanyl while in possession of a firearm charges on Wednesday because the federal indictments have been handed down.
Rodriguez is scheduled to be arraigned today in U.S. District Court in Bismarck.

Perfecto Ramos Jr., 19, is charged in district court in Minot with burglarizing several southeast Minot businesses in a plaza located at 2001 8th Ave. SE on Sunday and causing a substantial amount of damage.
He is charged in district court in Minot with seven counts of Class C felony burglary and one count of Class C felony unlawful entry into a motor vehicle.
Minot police said that a caller reported seeing Ramos breaking into vehicles in Minot early Sunday morning. Police responded, located Ramos and placed him under arrest. Evidence found linked him to the burglaries and to the unlawful entry into a motor vehicle.
