Operation Walk Chicago launches its first medical mission of 2023 with a weeklong trip to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Vietnam, starting March 27, to perform joint replacement surgeries and provide continued education for the local orthopedic staff.
JDRF works to help people with Type 1 diabetes through advocacy and research. To raise funds to move the cause forward, JDRF Illinois is hosting a One Walk event Sunday, Oct. 16, at College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn.
