No foul play involved in teen’s death on St. Clair County trail, police say

AVOCA, MI No foul play was involved in the death of a St. Clair County teen, police have determined.
Leah Conner, 16, was found deceased on the Wadhams-to-Avoca Trail on the morning of March 7, with the discovery of her body sparking a Michigan State Police investigation.
The trail spans 12 miles from Avoca/Kenockee Township to Port Huron Charter Township.
Their investigation revealed her cause of death did not involve foul play and was a result of self-harm, per a Thursday, March 11, Michigan State Police news release.

AVOCA, MI - The body of a teenage girl was found in St. Clair County Sunday morning, sparking a Michigan State Police investigation.
Leah Conner, a 16-year-old from Avoca, was found dead on the Wadhams-to-Avoca Trail the morning of March 7, according to Michigan State Police Lt. Lizabeth Rich.
The trail spans 12 miles from Avoca/Kenockee Township to Port Huron Charter Township.
Conner left home to walk on Saturday, March 6 around 11:20 a.m., police said, but she did not return home.
Her family reported her missing around 4:15 p.m. the same day.
