DIMAPUR ANTB (Alobo Naga & The Band), winner of MTV EMA 2012 ‘Best Indian Act’, is back again with a new single, ‘TGIF’ (Thank God it’s Friday), a dance rock song from their upcoming EP. An update from the band issued on May 19 informed that the band has been evolving over the years with its sound and genres. Alobo Naga, the front man of the band, in the release described the band as, “not your ordinary Rock band”. The song TGIF produced by ANTB along with producer Vivek Chetri, Noel Zoek and Tongs Kichu (ODE Studio), is about working-class people longing to have fun and relax during the weekends to escape from their hectic life. The music video is directed by the award-winning director Vito Sumi in association with Studio Lagom starring Uto Chishi. Shot at Dimapur and Guwahati, the music video is about a loner working a 9-5 job who dreams of becoming a Rockstar and party during weekends.
