Those daytime highs on the mild side. 62 in San Francisco for a high temperature. 64 in oakland. 65 in san jose and 66 for concord. The daytime highs, above average for this time of year. This is at university, right in the heart of berkeley and its been burning for hours, likely causing significant damage to this building. Just after 6 00, flames erupted. Watched it literally go up. Reporter he saw from his apartment, across the street. Whats going on . Check the window and all you see it flame up. Reporter his comfort did not last long, as firefighters came door to door.
