you know it s a friday. if there is any kind of a weather hiccup that will influence the delays at the major airports like that i-95 corridor, new york s metro airports in chicago, boston all going to be affected by some wind or maybe visibility problems. even denver could see a little bit of snowfall. a little bit. maybe an inch or less. but we have got these reinforcing shots of cool air. they are making its way across the midwest with temperatures 40s, 50s, kansas city, 49 and chicago 55 and wind gusts new york city 25 miles an hour and 67 degrees coming up. back to you. thank you. the story of one lucky dog from st. louis where neighbors say a man moved away deserting his two dogs. both apparently fell into a storm sewer in the street. one got away but the other got stuck! look at this! for days that doggie was stuck! animal control wasn t able to get the animal out.
per hour and even that is doable, so, again, it couldn t have been better. if we look at the satellite picture now, this is the time of the year, and even jim tillmon, on the west coast for those not familiar with it, from san francisco down to the bay area, all the way down to san diego, you do get a marine layer, and that moves in and creates visibility problems but that burns off at 10:30 or 11:30 in the morning, but the radar is clear. don, this is quite interesting, the flight comes in, and this is the asiana flight comes down the coast on the northwest flight line, it comes around and banks around to the right. in fact, you can actually see it here as it flies around the bay. and then it comes and approaches the landing. we re going to get in a little bit closer here. in fact, you can actually see where the runway is. as it banks back and around, this is where the plane is, but what s ideal here and we all saw it here, the video which is amazing, fredricka we ll show it again

veteran s memorial. rene is standing by. reporter: good morning. we are here at the u.s. marine corps war memorial. we have been here all morning. it s a stunning memorial to see in person. we have seen parents bringing their children here, and we have seen veterans themselves here, just taking a moment, a moment of silence to remember or remember those who have fallen and who have died for our country, and this memorial is right outside of arlington national cemetery, and we spoke to a couple of people today where they were headed from here and headed over to the cemetery for today s ceremony. we do expect momentarily that the president will arrive there at arlington national cemetery along with the first lady. he laid that wreath, and we were told around 11:00 this morning, and that will be followed by remarks as well. but today is not the only day for the celebrations. we have seen them throughout the weekend. we had the rolling thunder that has been here in the nation s
