The Yamuna Expressway Authority has approached the Noida police to take action against miscreants who are forging documents and floating fake tenders to dupe people. One such complainant reported the matter from Madhya Pradesh to the authority recently. Body in canal in Aligarh: Friends tried to save him, failed | Noida News

Representative image GREATER NOIDA: One person was arrested and a minor detained in connection with the death of a 15-year-old boy who went missing from his house in Rabupura on Friday. The child’s body was found in a canal in Aligarh the next day. Mudit Bhati was a student of Class 10. Police said the boy had gone to take a bath in the canal with two of his friends. It is suspected that the duo tried saving him. When they could not, they dumped Mudit’s motorcycle and clothes in the canal to make it look like an accident, police said.

Two cut open ATM and flee with Rs 17L, cop suspended | Noida News

Noida: Two men allegedly fled with Rs 17 lakh after cutting open an ATM near Bilaspur police chowki in Greater Noida’s Dankaur area on Tuesday night. On Wednesday, the police chowki in-charge was suspended for negligence. According to police, the men first broke the lock of the kiosk and then sprayed black paint on the CCTV cameras installed inside. There was no security guard at the booth that had PNB’s ATM. The accused cut open the machine and fled with the cash kept inside. Police received information about the crime from bank officials around 10am the next day. According to sources, the kiosk does not have a security guard since February. “A bank official went to the ATM booth around 10am and found the lock broken and the machine damaged. He then informed the bank manager,” a police officer told TOI. The branch manager of the bank in Dankaur, Abhishek Kumar, said Rs 17 lakh has been stolen and the ATM damaged.
