Rumored to be named as Versione Speciale (VS or special version in English), the Ferrari 812 Superfast Limited Edition top speed could go beyond 211mph (miles per hour) or 340kph (kilometers per hour) the peak speed of a standard model.

Ferrari 812 Superfast Versione Speciale has the most potent Ferrari V12 engine Alvin Reyes - Apr 22, 2021, 5:28am CDT As the name suggests, a standard Ferrari 812 Superfast is, well, a stupendously quick supercar. However, Ferrari recently unveiled a ‘faster’ and more potent version of the 812 Superfast. It will debut on May 5 as having the most powerful and highest-revving V12 engine in Ferrari’s history. Ferrari refers to it as Versione Speciale or Special Version, although the name might change upon the vehicle’s debut in the next couple of weeks. Despite this, Ferrari was able to whet our appetites by releasing a couple of tidbits about its latest high-speed creation.

LEAKED: This Is The Name Of Ferrari s New Supercar

Ferrari It will sound incredible, too, as it revs all the way to 9,050 rpm, making it Ferrari s highest-revving road car ever. Performance specifications are being kept under wraps, but with more power and less weight, the Competizione variant should be faster than its Superfast sibling, which will accelerate from 0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds and max out at 211 mph. As for the exterior, you can easily tell the Competizione apart from the regular Superfast thanks to its larger front air intakes, a carbon fiber blade that adorns the hood, and an aluminum panel that replaces the rear glass. Thanks to the car s four-wheel steering, the 812 Competizione will be even more enjoyable to drive. We can t wait to find out more details when the Ferrari 812 Competizione debuts on May 5.

2021 Ferrari 812 VS: 9500rpm supercar revealed in first official images

full unveiling on 5 May 2021, at 10:30pm AEST. While the upcoming supercar s name has yet to be officially confirmed – with media unofficially dubbing the model VS , short for Versione Speciale (special version in Italian) – Ferrari has confirmed it will sit above the current 812 Superfast in its range, as the ultimate expression of the brand s front-engined coupes. Powering the 812 VS is a reworked version of Ferrari s naturally-aspirated V12 engine seen in the Superfast, tuned to develop 610kW (up 22kW), with a redline of 9500rpm – the highest of any road-going Ferrari engine ever produced, beating the LaFerrari s 9250rpm. No performance figures have been announced, however expect the 0-100km/h time to fall a few tenths from the Superfast s 2.9-second claim.

First details of new 817bhp Ferrari 812 Superfast Versione Speciale announced

This is a new limited edition Ferrari based on the 812 Superfast - a pumped up, more powerful, lightweight variant of the brand’s latest front-engined V12 berlinetta, which will be revealed in full on 5 May.  Ferrari has not yet revealed a name, but earlier this year, the model was referred to as a ‘Version Speciale’ 812 Superfast. It is, in essence, the 812’s equivalent to the F12tdf. It makes use of that car’s 6.5-litre V12 engine, but power increases to 817bhp over the 789bhp output of the 812, with the rev limiter increasing to 9,500rpm. Power unit modifications include the redesign of key components such as the valve timing mechanism and a new exhaust system. Ferrari has not yet revealed any performance figures.
