Ferrari has so far managed to avoid the SUV segment, but since that’s where the money is these days, they will soon launch such a model.
Named internally as the Purosangue, Ferrari’s first SUV is currently in the road-testing phase, albeit as a mule, using a modified body of the Maserati Levante, with a slightly longer nose, lower-mounted grille, and raked A-pillars. It also sits closer to the ground than the Trident brand’s high-rider.
Zooming in on one of the images taken by our spy photographers in Sweden reveals the dashboard, which does not seem to have anything in common with the Levante. For starters, the analog clock no longer sits on top, the air vents have a rounded design and we cannot really see an infotainment screen, meaning that it is probably mounted a bit lower – or perhaps it pops up/out at the push of a button.
