On May 29, people who have been vaccinated will no longer be required to wear masks or face coverings in or outdoors. Governor Baker says the high level of vaccinations in the state makes that possible. The CDC recommends that unvaccinated people continue to wear masks in public and in situations where they cannot social distance. All restrictions on businesses will be lifted on Saturday. The state of emergency ends June 15th. (Undated) The jobs picture continues to improve in Massachusetts, albeit slowly. The Massachusetts Bureau of Labor Statistics says the commonwealth added 51-hundred jobs in April, dropping the state’s jobless rate from 6.7 to 6.5 percent. Bay State employers have now added jobs for four months in a row and 11 out of the last 12.
