When a speeding amtrak commuter train went off the rails just outside of philadelphia this past week there were multiple fatalities hundreds of injuries and immediate suspicions about the condition of the track and the lack of Safety Technology that could have prevented it. But when we talked to the head of amtrak last fall, he said thats just one of the many problems on the northeast corridor. This is the achilles heel that we have on the northeast corridor.
