He takes 35 down to 15. That puts us below china, finally, below canada. Its a lower tax than most of the European Countries and it would really make us much more competitive than we are today. I think it would bring growth from the very lame 2 weve got now, less than 2 under obama up to 4 which is what we had under president regan and that makes all the difference on jobs. Maria youre a business guy, what do you think . Well, i think it has to be done. Theres no question about it, maria. The oppression of taxes and a lot of people that dont understand this stuff, think the money goes into the pockets of the Corporate Executives or some place mysterious, it goes to the shareholders, it goes to innovation, it goes to development, scaling business. Maria back in the business. It goes back to the business, more efficient in business than being wasted in government. Plus we have all the money oversea that is we could be bringing back here in an Intelligent Fashion and reinvesting in this country. Trump moves to territorial system than worldwide system. Most have territorial system, you tax once and then you can bring money that you earned in france back to the United States without paying a penalty. We tax people for recreating resources. Thats crazy. Dagen regardless of the person who is giving it that sends that message, so you dont get lost in the technical points of Corporate Taxes and why are economic policies better for you at the end to have day than oas of the democrats . When the left talks and criticizes melania recording a couple of paragraphs in a speech, why doesnt Hillary Clinton release all of her speeches she was paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for, if you want to talk about speeches, lets put the focus where it should be. Maria a very good point. Lets talk about policy. Weve got two business guys here, ed ramsey, former ceo of mcdonalds and andy, obviously, you are running a fantastic company in terms of really resonating and feeling the power of the people. What are you seeing in terms of policy out of donald trump that you believe will move the Economic Growth story in this country . Well, obviously, you need growth to create jobs and when you have jobs, you have employees, you dont have employees competing for jobs which is what you have now which holds wages down. You have employers competing for employees, which is what you want so wages go up. Donald trump has a very pro growth tax plan. Hillary clintons tax plan is basically an Income Redistribution plan hes got a pro Growth Energy plan, all of the above. Her energy plan is basically based on climate change, she wants to put coal miners out of work. And regulations, if anybody knows how much government regulation can hurt you its a guy who has built buildings in new york city. This guy knows that regulation harms american businesses and he wants to cut it back and to eliminate Barack Obamas executive orders. Every problem Hillary Clinton sees she thinks the solution is more government involvement. Maria you think rolling back regulations and lower taxes will get you as a business guy to put more money in the business and hire more workers . Thats absolutely the case, thats not rocket science. Maria andy. Every time. These dollars going to the government are inefficiently spent. Give it back to the business community, give it back to the Small Business so they can have growth, so they can enhance training for their employees, so they can create new jobs. Government is inefficient by its very nature. Let businesses do what they can do. If theyre inefficient they fail and go away. And thats the problem with government, it never goes away, its a predatory device in our economy. And two great job creators. Im sure theyll tell you the margins are smaller and smaller. When Elizabeth Warren and Hillary Clinton say shes raise the minimum wage to 15, and more obamacare, the ability to expand is less and less, theyve never created jobs. When you send money to the government, theyre like pigs in a trough, theyre going to spend it and demand more and thats the difference between the two candidates. Maria were talking about grover norquist, talking about a 15 tax rate. Way down. When you build a restaurant or any business, you build for the future. You dont build based on whats happening today. If you think a 15 wage is coming down the pike, if you think that taxes are going up, that regulations are going to increase, your Financial Model doesnt justify the investment so you dont build, you dont create jobs.
