As we heard earlier, the second case in the bay area is in Solano County. At a 4 00 press conference today, county Health Officials said the patient, an older adult woman had no known exposure to the virus through travel nor through close contact with a known infected person. County health says the woman was initially hospitalized for a respiratory illness. Her doctor request they test her for the virus, and the results came back last night. Since then the department has been working to find others she may have exposed, but they arent giving specific details about where the woman lives, only confirming she is a resident of the county and contracted this through a community case.
