A seven-member gang of cyber fraudsters was arrested in Kanpur for duping a Delhi man of Rs 80 lakh in a cryptocurrency scheme. The gang promised to double the man's money but later switched off their contact numbers. Police recovered mobile phones, laptops, jewelry, and cash from the accused.
Khanna Police arrested five drug peddlers and recovered 150 kilograms of poppy husk. The accused were identified as Lovedeep Singh, Surinder Kumar, Lucky, Subhash Kumar, and Rajat Kumar of Doraha. They were booked under the NDPS Act and police recovered Rs 80,000 drug money from them.
