Ive been looking at the observations through kentucky and it has not been able to produce over 2 inches in any location. Were thinking here it could be a dusting to maybe an inch, but i would not be shocked if a couple spots fluff up into a couple inches. Thats the system were watching, a clipperlike system, very dry air overhead, not as cold as some of the last couple systems that came through for us on the ground. I think this quick burst of snow may slow you down a little bit in the morning. Lets talk about again light snow expected for the morning commute. It will begin before the commute, too by the way, minor accumulations, grass, perhaps sidewalk. In terms of sticking on the roadways, i know theyre scrambling some trucks. Tonight. Lets check in with monika samtani. If you do the beltway in Prince Georges County, you need to pay attention. You do. Were talking the east side of the beltway in Prince Georges County where there was a serious Early Morning accident. It happened before 3 00 on the inner loop of the beltway. Thats southbound 95 after route 50 where only one lane is getting by in each direction. Let me show you first what it looks like live there. Three vehicles involved, including a fire truck, a tractortrailer, and a jeep. If you are planning to head to the beltway, look at the work they have to do. To of those vehicles were overturned. Again, this is a live picture here on the inner loop south of route 50 in the landover area. Lets go to our mdot shot so you can see whats getting by. This is going to be this way for a while.
