They have a couple of crews there trying to say that home one on top of the hill, one of the bottom of the hill. Embers are everywhere and i got to tell you boots on the ground here. It is smoky here today breathing is more difficult than it was yesterday. So it is getting a lot worse. Let me show you some video and pictures of this entire area you talked about the acreage so many homes up in flames others like you said or threaten i can tell you that at this particular time there are a lot of crews patrolling the area and they see huge flames they were pounce on it. Many structures either destroyed or damaged the flames continue to rip through this area that has seen fire for the past couple of years, how horrible the situatio
Theres a red flag warning so we have to watch out for more fires threats as we go through the weekend more bad air in the bay area and were looking at more damage the entire city of calistoga has been evacuated calistoga still okay but everybody had to get out your kron fours will tran has been driving around there for us this morning giving us boots on the ground, a first person perspective and will what are you seeing this morning. I see the flames are right behind the same house that ive been showing you since 5 oclock in the morning. We have a location the firefighters tell me this is tucker road off a highway 29 about a mile from calistoga so this is your home. Let me show you give you an education on firefighting because he was giving me an education yulia sevens and i look at how the fire burned itself out you can see the smoke right there, theyre saying thats because the humidity level is high so they set it on fire. They watch it and then it burns itself out, but he had they done at noon it would not have burned itself out and therefore could have gotten closer. So the home, so thats why they do a lot of heavy lifting with the humidity level is up and the overnight hours. You can see just how smoky the conditions are embers flying everywhere. Trees are falling d
