Ranchi: Ailing RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav shifted to All India Institute Of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi from RIMS hospital in Ranchi on the recommendation of the State Medical Board on Saturday. He has been admitted to the coronary care unit (CCU) of the cardiothoracic centre at the hospital.
Jailed RJD chief Lalu Prasad will be shifted to AIIMS-Delhi after his health condition deteriorated while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Ranchi. Prasad (72), convicted in fodder scam cases, is undergoing treatment at the Rajendra Institute of Medical Science (RIMS) here for multiple ailments.
