Patna (Bihar) [India], February 13 (ANI): As the internal rift in Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) widens, the party chief Lalu Prasad Yadav s elder son and MLA Tej Pratap Yadav on Saturday said that people like Jagadanand Singh, are the reason behind weakening the party. These kinds of people are weakening the party and the same people are the reason for my father s ill health. But I am not afraid of them. Whatever I see happening, I am vocal about it, Tej Pratap told reporters here.

Ranchi (Jharkhand) [India], February 12 (ANI): The Jharkhand High Court on Friday deferred to February 19 hearing on the bail plea of former Bihar Chief MinisterLalu Prasad Yadav in connection with the fodder scam case.
Yadav, who had been in prison since December 2017, was sentenced to seven years imprisonment in 2018 under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and seven years under the Prevention of Corruption Act in connection with the fodder scam case.
The case pertains to the fraudulent withdrawal of Rs 3.5 crores from the Dumka treasury by Animal Husbandry Department officials between 1991 and 1996 when Yadav served as the State s Chief Minister.

Patna (Bihar) [India], January 26 (ANI): Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav s elder son and party MLA Tej Pratap Yadav on Monday wrote a postcard letter to President Ram Nath Kovind requesting him to release the former Bihar Chief Minister from jail on humanitarian grounds.
In his letter which he called an Azadi Patra , Tej Pratap addressed his father as the messiah of the poor and deprived section of the society and urged the President to free him.
Pratap s earnest appeal was however riddled with spelling mistakes. The single line appeal in Hindi had five errors.
Ranchi: Incarcerated RJD president Lalu Prasad was shifted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, in an air ambulance on Saturday evening on the recommendation of an eight-member medical board comprising doctors of the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (Rims), where he was undergoing treatment while serving prison terms in various fodder scam cases.
Accompanied by daughter Misa Bharti accompanied, Lalu was wheeled out of the Rims paying ward at about 5:15pm and taken to the Birsa Munda International Airport in an ambulance. Lalu’s wife and former Bihar CM Rabri Devi and younger son and the leader of opposition in the Bihar assembly, Tejashwi Yadav, were also on the flight air ambulance that took him to the national capital.
