The 9 Most Colorful Cities In North America
Mar.6.2021
When I wrote about my favorite colorful cities throughout the world, not only were there so many more vibrant cities that could not include because of space limitations, but I also got lots of comments from readers who suggested further cities. So the editor decided to make this into a little series, highlighting the best but most likely not all colorful cities in various regions around the globe.
Starting with the United States, Canada, and Mexico, I have heeded reader suggestions and compiled some real stunners, colorful enough to cheer up any traveler armchair or intrepid and to be included on everybodyâs to-travel-to list.

Thornbury, South Gloucestershire, UK
This sturdy castle turned luxury hotel dates to the 1500s and was once owned by King Henry VIII. This is where he came with his ill-fated second wife Anne Boleyn on their honeymoon, and where his daughter from his first wife, who was to become Queen Mary I, lived for several years. Turrets, walled gardens, paneled rooms with decorated ceilings, rooms decorated with cozy wall hangings, open fireplaces, and four-poster beds: You can practically taste the history. You can even try your hand at royal pastimes such as falconry and archery.
Thornbury Castle lies 12 miles out of the city of Bristol and within easy reach of the Cotswolds, should you get bored with being royalty.

The car bursting full, and trying to keep busy by counting cars while stuck in the back with all the suitcases? Quite honestly, that road trip is still relevant to my travels today.
Road trips are the perfect way to explore a region or a country, giving you flexibility and independence while saving money along the way. There is nothing quite like the freedom of the open road stretching to the horizon, with every sign you pass a potential adventure. No wonder
Everything You Need To Know Before Visiting The Amazing Seychelles
Jan.20.2021
One of the most-loved stamps in my passport is the cheeky one from the Seychelles depicting the famous coco-de-mer coconut found there. You know the one that looks like a nicely rounded rear end? It makes me smile every time and takes me straight back to the serene islands in the Indian Ocean.
The Seychelles archipelago, some 1,500 miles off the west African coast, is made up of the main island Mahe with its capital Victoria, the two smaller islands of La Digue and Praslin, and more than 100 even smaller islands, some of which have been transformed into some of the worldâs most exclusive private resorts.
